Service Description

JANUARY 9-13th 8-10h This 5 mornings introduction course to offer specific instructions on the Ashtanga primary series, the count and names of postures, as well as personal variations tailored for each individual. Whether you’ve practiced for years or never stepped onto a yoga mat, our INTRO TO MYSORE style course will guide you into the multi-dimensional world of yoga with a sense of security and confidence so that you feel safe and empowered to explore Ashtanga with a solid base for you to build your personal practice. Over the five days you will learn the Sun Salutations, the standing sequence and the closing postures with a focus on your alignment and the physical awareness of your body. Gradually we will introduce sitting postures as you become more independent with the pace and memorization of the sequence so that you can confidently transition into the Mysore room on the last 2 days.
