This Introduction to ashtanga mysore practice program is open to new and regular students. This 5 morning course offer specific instruction on the Ashtanga primary series, primary series count and names of postures, as well as personal variations for each individual. Whether you’ve practiced for years or never stepped onto a yoga mat, our INTRO TO MYSORE courses will guide you into the multi dimensional world of yoga with a sense of security and confidence so that you feel safe, secure and empowered to explore Ashtanga with a solid base for you to build your personal practice. Over the five mornings you will learn from the sun salutations through the standing sequence and closing postures. Gradually we introduce sitting postures as you become independent with the pace and memorization of the sequence so that you can confidently transition into the Mysore room.
